Kedeshia Tapper

Kedeshia Tapper is a licensed Jamaican attorney-at-law and Real Estate Broker, with over nine years of legal practice and more than twenty years of real estate industry expertise. She is the founder and principal lawyer of Tapper Law in Jamaica (www.tapperlawjm.com), specializing in real estate and property law.
Kedeshia holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London, a Legal Education Certificate (LEC) from the Norman Manley Law School, and both a Graduate Diploma and Master of Laws (LLM) in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School.
Kedeshia focuses on strategic decision-making and risk assessment. Her methodical approach is shaped by recognised principles of strategy and decision science, including those examined in Thinking in Bets by Annie Duke and Good Strategy, Bad Strategy by Richard Rumelt. These frameworks inform her evaluation of legal risks and the formulation of effective, results-driven legal strategies.
In addition to her legal career, Kedeshia serves as Principal Broker at Essential Properties Limited (www.essentialpropertiesja.com) where she applies her extensive sector knowledge to property transactions and advisory services.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Kedeshia is the author of The Her Within, a published compilation of inspirational poetry and prose. She remains committed to community engagement through volunteer initiatives in Toronto.
